Master Hire articulated trench rollers are compact and robust in design. Also known as a trench compactor, they are specifically used to compact soil, typically suitable to narrow or large trenches. These units achieve steady ground contact from the articulation joint some models also have oscillation. For added safety, a robust and ergonomic infrared remote control is used to operate the machine allowing the operator to stay clear of the unit whilst in use. The trench roller, equipped with 4 separate padfoot drums with scrapers, are powered by a diesel engine and come with a standard drum with of 850mm, however 630mm drums are available on request.
