Master Hire 1.6t tandem drum rollers are compact and robust in design. These units come with an onboard water tank complete with sprinkler system and for added safety and security, a lockable dashboard, engine cover and fuel tank. Often referred to as a double drum roller or twin drum roller, they are powered by a diesel engine and each of these rollers are equipped with folding ROPS (rollover protective structure) and offer a central lifting point and integrated tie-down points. Dual frequency is standard on all our tandem drum rollers and with an offset drum, you can easily compact the surface close to edges, walls and tight areas with ease. They feature an electronic drive lever for smoother starts and stops, which is especially important on asphalt projects. All Master Hire tandem drum rollers are fitted with an emergency stop button, battery isolation switch and roof canopy.
The tandem smooth roller has a spacious operator station complete with a folding ROPS for optimal all-around machine visibility for safety on the job site. Daily on-site maintenance is simple via accessible service and maintenance points and maintenance-free parts. Standard features of this light tandem vibratory roller include front and rear vibration and drive, emergency stop button, 2 working frequencies and are available on an optional dual axle aluminium trailer. All Master Hire trailers are fitted with a standard 50mm quick release ball coupling with override brake.
